Rodney Atkins is one of my favorite new artists. He came on strong in 2007 and had 3 number one hits in a row: “Watching You” which is a great example of why I listen to Country Music. It’s positive and uplifting and delivers a good message. “If You’re Going Through Hell” was his first hit and a rousing country rocker. If he’d have stopped there, he would still have made country history. The third hit was “These are My People”. When an artist gets three number ones songs from the same album, I really consider buying it. But then he came out with “Cleaning My Gun”. I don’t think this has reached number one yet, but it should. What a great song! I will be buying Rodney Atkins new album in the near future.

To answer the question in the title, I think the album was “Honesty”, but it wasn’t released until 2003. He may have produced it in 1997, but it wasn’t released then, as far as I can find. Let me know if I’m mistaken on this.
